We are looking for incredible writers to join our team at Different! Since we work with clients across all industries, you need to be an excellent researcher with the flexibility to reflect the style and tone of each and every one of our clients. We don’t want someone who can churn out 1000-word cookie-cutter blog posts all day long. The internet has enough of those. We want writers who will create truly awesome content that will blow people away.

Our mission at Different is to move industry standards forward. That means we take all of the best practices into account, but we go a step beyond that with our dedication to the true value that every client and reader gets out of each piece of content. If you are someone who hates writing BS content that will never get read, this position may be for you. We want people who care about the work they produce and are obsessed with making it better. 

Job responsibilities

You will be responsible for researching, outlining, creating, and editing content for both our clients and us. You will collaborate closely with our Lead SEO and content manager to make sure that each piece achieves the level of quality that we are striving for with every piece. The types of content you will be producing will primarily be articles, but you will also be asked to work on different types of content such as:

  • Email Marketing
  • Social Media
  • Case Studies
  • Web Copy
  • Infographics
  • And more.

Long story short, we are looking for a writer with a flexible skillset that can produce high-quality work, quickly.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years in writing at an agency or as a freelancer
  • Ability to write for the Web, email, social media, and other formats
  • Experience with content management systems and collaboration tools, bonus points if you have worked in ClickUp
  • Experience writing technical guides or tutorials
  • Native or Fluent English speaker
  • Able to work and communicate as part of a remote team.
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Able to adapt quickly to a new brand voice from client to client
  • Thrive in strategic situations where you may have to create content with little direction on short notice
